The New Zealand Golf Guide provides course and contact details for all 393 golf clubs affiliated to the NZ Golf Association. 260 of these clubs "participate" in the guide promotion by offering discounted green fees and/or other special deals to Golf Guide holders.

NOTE: Many non-participating clubs have green fees of $5.00 or less and are still worthy of a visit.

Each player must have their own copy of the guide, which must be presented when claiming the green fee discount at a participating club. The book may be used once only at each participating club. There is no limit to the number of times discounts may be claimed at participating Golf Shops and Accommodation Providers.

Each edition of the Golf Guide is valid for 12 months, from 1 October to 30 September of the following year.
